The Exemplar and Exemplar LS are part of a smart series of spectrometers that feature on board data processing, USB 3.0 communication, and temperature compensation. The Exemplar Plus offers all of the same features with the addition of a TE Cooled CCD detector. Now, the Exemplar series has been significantly improved in functionality and stability with: Trigger Delay (TD) for synchronization; Pulse Chain Outputs (PCO) for low intensity signals which is extremely useful for induced low intensity signals such as multi-triggering of a light source for a weak florescence measurement; and Extremely stable burst mode for time of flight measurements. B&W Tek has also further improved its BWSpec software that can be seamlessly integrated with the use of the Exemplar series spectrometers.
